1. 1Open to all amateur cosplayers of all ages.

  2. 2There are 4 categories:  Cosplay Male, Cosplay Female, Best Group and Cosplay Junior (12 and younger).

  3. 3Revealing (Comic Book Standards) costumes and potentially harmful props (such as sharp objects and pyrotechnics) are not allowed.

  4. 4Contestants must register at the Cosplay table on Saturday November 18 where they will be  evaluated by SW-Florida Comic Con judges.

  5. 5Winners will be announced at 3pm and prizes will be available at the Cosplay table. Prize Details Coming Shortly


No functional weapons are allowed. Simulated or costume weapons are allowed as part of your costume, subject to prior approval by security and compliance with the following:

1. All costume weapons must be inspected at the Weapons Check Desk outside of the main hall.

2. All costume weapons must conform to State and Federal law.

3. Projectile costume weapons must be rendered inoperable.

4. Costume swords must be tied to your costume in such a way that they can’t be drawn.

5. After each person’s costume weapon has been checked, it will be tagged by the staff, and you will be given a wristband to wear to designate that your weapons have been checked.

  1. 6.Security will escort you to the Weapons Check Desk for inspection if your costume weapon is not tagged.

  2. 7.All guns must have a orange tip or no entry or they have to leave there gun prop behind. No exceptions

If you do not want to have your costume weapons inspected or tagged, or if you are not willing to comply with these policies, please do not bring your costume weapons.
